Ewan is a three-time recipient of the Dewar Arts Award for exceptional talent and winner of the Duncan Macrae Competition Prize 2020. His credits while training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland include THE SPECULATOR, UNCLE VANYA and HAMLET and short films CAPTAIN POWERMAN, THE GREAT CAVERZAGO and SIMETRA CODE 75, which he wrote, co-directed and starred in.
On stage Ewan has performed in MILKSHAKE directed by Finn den Hertog, JOKE directed by Jemima Levick, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS and A CHRISTMAS CAROL both directed by Dominic Hill. His recent screen credits include the short film ONE SHOT directed by Zam Salim, CLOSE directed by Tom Gentle and Irvine Welsh’s 6-part series CRIME, directed by David Blair.
Ewan can currently be seen playing Conrade in The National Theatre production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.
