Michael Carter

Michael is well-known for his iconic film credits including AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON and RETURN OF THE JEDI. Further film credits include THE ILLUSIONIST and CENTURION.

He has also worked extensively on stage, including ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, THE OEDIPUS PLAYS for the Royal National Theatre, and Dustin Hoffman’s MERCHANT OF VENICE.

On television, Michael has appeared in REBUS, TAGGART, SPOOKS, and had series regular roles in CALL RED, 2000 ACRES OF SKY and ITV’s THE HALCYON. He also appeared as King Targaryen in HOUSE OF THE DRAGON for HBO and as Maurice Dior in the APPLE+ series THE NEW LOOK.

He can most recently be seen in the Netflix series DEATH BY LIGHTNING.
