Laila Rouass

Laila is a familiar face on our screens, with an extensive list of television credits that includes regular roles in SPOOKS, HOLBY CITY and STELLA, as well as a guest lead in MIDSOMER MURDERS. Her many screen appearances also include playing the Deputy Prime Minister in Series 2 of THE ROYALS, alongside roles in Disney’s THE LODGE, Netflix’s acclaimed drama SAFE, BBC’s AGE BEFORE BEAUTY, Series 4 of LONDON KILLS for BBC One, and TRACES S2 for BBC/Alibi. In 2021, Laila reprised her much-loved role as Sahira Shah in the BBC’s HOLBY CITY. She then went on to star in the British independent comedy THE EFFECTS OF LYING, ITV’s TELL ME EVERYTHING S2, and BBC’s EASTENDERS.

She was most recently seen in BBC’s SHAKESPEARE AND HATHAWAY, and Channel 4’s VENGEANCE: MURDER ON THE HEATH.
