Eliza Butterworth

Eliza trained at RADA. Her television credits have included DCI BANKS, WPC 56 and the BBC TWO thriller THE NORTH WATER, alongside Colin Farrell. However, she is probably best known for playing the leading role of Queen Aelswith in BBC/Netflix series THE LAST KINGDOM, of which all five seasons are available to stream on Netflix.

In 2021, Eliza made her West End debut playing Princess Eugenie in THE WINDSORS: ENDGAME alongside Harry Enfield and Tracy-Ann Oberman at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

Eliza can most recently be seen playing Carly Lord in the acclaimed Sky series A TOWN CALLED MALICE, and starring alongside John Rhys-Davies in the short film LITTLE BROWN BIRD.
