Caitríona Balfe

Caitríona is best known for her leading role as Claire Randall in the Sony/Starz international hit series OUTLANDER, for which she won a Scottish BAFTA, an IFTA and four Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress. Further television credits include Netflix’s DARK CRYSTAL prequel and the mini-series THE BEAUTY INSIDE.

Caitríona starred in Kenneth Branagh’s Oscar and BAFTA winning feature film BELFAST which earned her a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her other film credits include the Oscar winning feature film FORD v FERRARI alongside Matt Damon and Christian Bale, MONEY MONSTER alongside George Clooney and Julia Roberts, ESCAPE PLAN directed by Mikael Håfström, NOW YOU SEE ME directed by Louis Leterrier and CRUSH directed by Malik Bader. Most recently she filmed the Sean Ellis feature THE CUT starring opposite Orlando Bloom and the 20th Century’s thriller feature THE AMATEUR alongside Rami Malek, Laurence Fishburne and Rachel Brosnahan.

Caitríona will next be seen in the eighth and final series of OUTLANDER and will soon finish filming the feature film SENSE and SENSIBILITY being directed by Georgia Oakley for Working Title and Focus Features.
