Phylip’s TV credits include TORCHWOOD, MARTHA JAC & SIANCO, CAERDYDD (CARDIFF), Y PRIS (THE PRICE), DR WHO, TRACY BEAKER, THE LIFEBOAT, and HIGH HOPES.
His film credits include MR NICE, ARTHUR’S DYKE and the BAFTA winning film A BIT OF TOM JONES.
On stage Phylip is renowned as a pantomime dame and has played dames in SLEEPING BEAUTY at The Riverfront Theatre, Newport, and JACK & THE BEANSTALK, ALADDIN, BEAUTY & THE BEAST, DICK WHITTINGTON for Clwyd Theatr Cymru and Smee and Dame Delia in PETER PAN at The Riverfront, Newport.
His other theatre credits include THE SECRET OF BELONGING for Antic Theatre, THE THORN BIRDS, THE CONTENDER and UNDER MILK WOOD for Wales Theatr Cymru, as well as A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR and SILAS MARNER for Clwyd Theatre Cymru and MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, THE WINTER’S TALE and THE MERCHANT OF VENICE at the Ludlow Festival.
Phylip trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD).
