Aled plays singer, songwriter and comedian Ryan Davies in feature RYAN & RONNIE for S4C, based on the lives of Ryan Davies and Ronnie Williams, the much loved Welsh entertainers who rose to fame in the 1970’s.
His other screen credits include lead roles in two series of Welsh drama CAERDYDD (CARDIFF), two series of Y PRIS (THE PRICE), a lead role in drama series ALYS, and in the Ruth Jones film AR Y TRACS (ON THE TRACKS). His other on screen credits include PRIMAEVAL, UNTO THE WICKED, RED CAP and MY FAMILY for the BBC.
His theatre credits include First Voice in Royal and Derngate’s production of UNDER MILK WOOD, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and THE GOLDEN ASS for The Globe, PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST and WAITING FOR GODOT at Clwyd Theatr Cymru and LIFE OF RYAN AND RONNIE with Sgript Cymru.
Aled is a highly skilled voice over artist and has voiced various documentaries and promos.
Aled trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD).
